Dennis, a 1991 graduate from Oklahoma State University, joined Northwestern Mutual as a “career-changer” in 2008 after moving home to Oklahoma from Florida where he served as Director of National Corporate Partnerships for the NBA’s Miami Heat. Dennis earned his degree Political Science at OSU and has spent the majority of his working career in Business & Corporate Development. Dennis, now a Managing Director of Midtown-OKC, Oklahoma, is a Pacesetter First 40 award winner (2009) and was named 2009 Rookie of the Year for Pillars Financial.
A two-sport letterman at Oklahoma State, Dennis played basketball for Eddie Sutton and baseball Gary Ward earning the opportunity to play in the 1990 NCAA College World Series in Omaha and the 1991NCAA Basketball Tournament where the Cowboys advanced to the Sweet-16. Selected on three occasions in the Major League Baseball draft, Dennis signed and played professional baseball in the NY Yankees organization finishing his playing career in Sioux City, Iowa in 1994.
Dennis and his wife Julie have two children – daughter Jordan is 12-years old and son Drew is 8-years old. Dennis serves on the Boards of the Oklahoma City All-Sports Association and Edmond All Sports, Inc. Julie and Dennis enjoy scuba diving and traveling when not chasing Jordan and Drew around on the soccer field, baseball diamond, basketball court or ice rink
