Dennis and his wife Julie have been married for 17 years.  They have had the great opportunity to enjoy life through sports where they both were collegiate athletes.  Julie Dobbs Burbank was the starting shortstop at the University of Oklahoma from 1990-1993.  During her junior year of college Dennis Burbank swept her off her feet after just beating her OU baseball team for the Big 8 championship game.  While at Oklahoma State University Dennis played basketball for Coach Eddie Sutton where he enjoyed his final basketball game as a Cowboy in the Sweet 16.  Dennis also had the opportunity to pitch for Coach Gary Ward in the finals of the 1990 College World Series game were he lost 2-1.  During Dennis’ senior year at OSU he was drafted by the New York Yankees. He played his rookie season for the Yankees in Oneonta, New York and finished out his career as a double A player in Sioux City, Iowa.

Dennis and Julie have two children.  Their daughter Jordan is 10 or double digits as she would say and their son, Drew whom is 5 years old.  They live in Edmond where they attend Lifechurch.tv.  Julie and Dennis enjoy scuba diving and playing co-ed softball when not chasing kids around.
